A lot of people love their coffee especially in the morning. It increases our energy and prepares us for the day. The coffee protects your heart and boosts the metabolism but it should be consumed moderately.

You can add a few more ingredients and make this tasty drink even more powerful and beneficial. Add some coconut oil, some honey, and some cinnamon and you will improve your overall health.

Why is this combination so powerful?

  • Cinnamon has powerful anti-inflammatory properties and it reduces the inflammation. The antioxidants it contains have the ability to fight free radicals and it also boosts the metabolism and lowers the bad cholesterol and blood sugar.
  • Coconut oil is another beneficial ingredient rich in fatty acids. It helps the body to burn fat more easily and has many other benefits for the health.
  • Honey is natural sugar rich in phosphorus, potassium, calcium, zinc, iron, salt, vitamin B6, riboflavin, vitamin C, folate, and niacin. It lowers the cholesterol levels and provides the body with many beneficial nutrients.


  • Cocoa (1 tsp. optional)
  • Cinnamon (1 tsp.)
  • Coconut oil (¾ cup)
  • Honey (½ cup)


Mix all the ingredients and keep the paste in the fridge, add 1-2 tsp. in your morning coffee. Enjoy your drink!
