Traditional Chinese medicine can see your health from your face!

According to Chinese medicine, a person’s face is full of information about his health. The 5 zones, the cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead give signs of what is happening in the body.

Every part of a person’s face is a reflection of a certain element like wood, metal, water, earth and fire and they are all connected to a certain organ of the body. Therefore, the Chinese medicine thinks that if something is going wrong with your body your face will show it.

Forehead

The forehead is the element fire and it is connected to the spirit and mind, intestines, and the heart. If you notice some discoloration, small blood vessels, or redness on your forehead it might mean that you have problems with your heart. Or it can be a sign of a strong emotional experience.

A blue-greenish tint on your forehead might predict a heart attack. If you notice some changes in the color of your forehead with a shortness of breath, tingling in the left hand, heartbeat, visit your doctor immediately.

Nose

The nose is the element earth and it is associated with the pancreas, spleen, and stomach. If you have some pimples on the side or the top of your nose then you should change your diet because that might be the cause of your diarrhea, constipation, and indigestion.

Redness and cracked capillaries on the top of your nose means that you are constantly under stress and you need to relax a bit.

Chin

The chin is the element water. It is associated with the glands and hormones, bladder, and kidneys. Dark or painted spots on your chin might indicate bladder or kidney problems. And pimples are a sign of hormonal imbalance like an excess of testosterone and estrogen.

The part between the upper lip and the nose indicate problems with the uterus and ovaries in women and prostate in men. Changes in the color or horizontal lines might be as a result of cysts or endometriosis.

People with small chin are more prone to bladder and kidney diseases but that doesn’t mean that they will develop one.

Right cheek

It is metal and related to the colon and lungs. The change of the color of your right cheek might indicate a problem with these organs. Redness, eczema, and acne might be a sign of a cold.

People who suffer from asthma and allergies are prone to eczema, and mild rashes.

Left cheek

This last zone is the element tree and it is related to the bile and liver. Redness and cracked capillaries indicate toxins in the liver or inflammation. Rash, redness, and cracked veins can be a sign of a high blood pressure.

If you notice a yellowish tint under your left eye you might have high cholesterol, triglycerides, or gallstones.

This part of your face can also show depression and anger.

Keep in mind that the face is a window of your whole body and you shouldn’t ignore the symptoms.
