Honor 10 Certified In China With 6GB Of RAM, 5.84″ Display

The upcoming Honor 10 flagship had surfaced on TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) a while back, but the listing has just started making rounds, as it was spotted on the site. This essentially means that the phone has been certified in China. Two variants of the device have been certified by TENAA, and thanks to the listing, we do know what to expect in the spec department, but not a single image of the device is available just yet, unfortunately. Before we begin talking about the device, it is worth saying that the phone will be announced on April 19 in China, while its global launch will occur on May 15 in London.

The Honor 10 appeared on TENAA in four separate listings, we’re looking at four different model numbers, and the only difference comes down to RAM and storage counts. Having said that, according to TENAA, the Honor 10 will sport a 5.84-inch fullHD+ (2240 x 1080) display with a 2.5D curved glass on top of it. The phone will arrive in both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants, and those two variants will include 64GB and 128GB of internal storage, respectively. Huawei’s Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel the Honor 10, and that is Huawei’s most powerful processor to date, and it fuels the company’s P20 and Mate 10 flagships. 24 and 16-megapixel shooters are included on the back of the device, while a single 24-megapixel snapper (Sony’s IMX576 sensor, f/2.0 aperture) can be found on the phone’s front side. A 3,320mAh non-removable battery will also be included in this package (including fast charging), while a Type-C USB port will be located on the bottom of the device.

Android 8.1 Oreo will come pre-installed on the Honor 10, along with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.1 skin. Stereo speakers will probably be a part of the package, though that part was not mentioned by TENAA. The source also mentioned that the phone will measure 149.6 x 71.2 x 7.7mm, while it will weigh 153 grams. The device will sport a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and it seems like it will sport a display notch, just like the Huawei P20, P20 Pro, and P20 Lite. Only the Silver color variant of the phone was mentioned by TENAA, though the device will be available in a range of color options.
