Nubia Red Devil Gaming Handset Shown In Blurry Render: Leak

Nubia’s upcoming Red Devil gaming smartphone has just surfaced in a blurry render. Despite the fact this render is blurry, it’s the best look at the device to date. Nubia’s CEO, Ni Fei, did release a teaser image for the device quite recently, though that teaser only showed us the bottom back part of the phone, it did not reveal its overall design, and that’s where this newly-surfaced render comes in.

If you take a look at the provided image, you will notice that this gaming smartphone looks like a regular phone, which has a rather interesting back side. All the physical keys seem to be included on the right-hand side of the device, including the power / lock, volume up, and volume down keys, while a rather interesting back buttons / slider is placed all the way up. As already mentioned, this image is too blurry to know for sure, but this is either another physical key, or a OnePlus-like slider. The device seems to be made out of metal, and it sports a single camera on its back side. Above the camera sits an LED flash, while below it you’ll get a rather large fingerprint scanner, at least it looks like a fingerprint scanner. You will notice some cutouts in all corners of the phone’s back side, and those are there either for the phone’s speakers, or cooling, but chances are that the Nubia Red Devil will sport some sort of interesting cooling system, just like the Xiaomi Black Shark which come with liquid cooling.

On the back of the device, you will also notice Nubia’s logo, and a vertical stripe that glows. This seems to be some sort of an LED indicator, at least based on this image, and it’s possible that it will change colors based on your notifications, or perhaps while you’re gaming. No info was shared along with the provided image, so we’re guessing here quite a bit. The device will probably sport a rather large display, and chances are we’re looking at a fullHD panel here. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel the Nubia Red Devil, and the device will almost certainly include 8GB of RAM on the inside, though a 6GB RAM variant is also a possibility. The company’s gaming handset will be announced on April 19, which means its announcement is only two days away at this point.
